MidJourney^1,109, the AI art-generating team, ^1,109just dropped a new feature: they call it “Panning”^1,109. It allows you to click up/down/left/right arrows to extend an image in that direction. Say hello to your wildest panoramic dreams. But the maddest thing: You can re-prompt whilst your mid-pan so that your images can get super funky.

It looks like Google made a sneaky change to their policies⁷¹⁸ over the weekend, and it goes something like this: “If it’s on the web, then it’s fair game for our AI models.” They’re making an attempt to reserve the right to harvest and harness (i.e. build AI models) anything online. The biggest AI playground imaginable!
